A 5-year old boy named Tomi wanted to help his mother move a box from the garage to the kitchen. It was too heavy for the mother to lift, so she said to her son, “I will wait for your dad.” Tomi was eager for his father to come home. When his father arrived from work, he ran to meet him and said, “Mommy wants to move this box to the kitchen.” As the father was about to lift the heavy box, Tomi said, “I want to help you.” The father said, “Okay!” Tomi simply put his hands on top of the box as the father lifted it. As soon as they got it into the kitchen, Tomi ran to his mother, jumping up with joy, and said, “Me and Daddy brought the box to the kitchen for you.”
They all laughed! Isn’t that what we do when we achieve great things that God has assigned us? We rejoice that we did it, but in a sense, we simply joined God in doing it. God rejoices and equally gives us credit! We must be willing to walk and work with God. He is the ultimate GIANT!
