Abraham

Abraham was called Abram before God blessed him and changed his name to Abraham and that of his wife from Sarai to Sarah. He was from Ur of the Chaldeans (modernday Iraq). His father’s name was Terah.

Enoch was the son of Jared, and Jared was the son of Mahalaleel, and Mahalaeel was the son of Cainan, and Cainan was the son of Enos, and Enos was the son of Seth, and Seth was the son of Adam. Adam was created by God in His image and had no human father.

Ike and Ifẹ were good friends. They lived on the same street. In fact, there was just one house between their parents’ houses. They went to the same school, Victory Elementary School. Sometimes their parents even carpooled. They were also in the same grade and sometimes read together after school.

God's Love For You

God created the first man (Adam) in His own image, and by His breath Adam became a living soul. God formed you in your mother’s womb (Jeremiah 1:5). He knows you by name. God watched over you in the womb.

“Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD, the fruit of the womb is a reward” (Psalm 127:3).

Little Tomi

A 5-year old boy named Tomi wanted to help his mother move a box from the garage to the kitchen. It was too heavy for the mother to lift, so she said to her son, “I will wait for your dad.” Tomi was eager for his father to come home.

Noah

Noah was the grandson of Methuselah (the oldest man that ever lived – 969 years), his father was Lamech. After Noah was five hundred years old, the Bible tells us that he became the father of Shem, Ham and Japheth.
